i know i'm getting old because, i'm at that age where i'm starting to see trends recycle. but, kids, this one is bad. trust, aunt megan on this. bad, bad, bad. i did this one. they didn't really look cool then. and, you know what? i kinda knew it (like i knew that asymmetrical bob was sort of a poor choice). but i went ahead and cashed in my month's wages from the limited on a pair of red ones. and then cranked up my UB40 cassette, and drove around with the top down all 'cool 'n shit'. woo hoo

The Social Security Administration's office have recently published the list of top 100 baby boy names for 2007, and it seems that the trend of using quirky, strange names with odd spellings have gone away and have been replaced with names that have biblical origins

Neighbor sends in this eyewitness account she received of a mugging in the neighborhood last night. Muggings happen on Capitol Hill and across this city every day but there are fewer than you might think (see the end of this post for more on that).
